At New Life we recognise the importance of family life and so we do all we can to support and encourage it.
Marriage
We are delighted when Christians from New Life choose to get married at New Life. If you are thinking of getting married at New Life, we would encourage you to contact us at the earliest opportunity in order to guide you through the necessary practical steps.
All those getting married at New Life are strongly advised and encouraged to go through our pre-marriage counselling course which is delivered by a number of married couples at New Life.
We have produced a leaflet ‘Marriage: God’s loving design’ which summarises our understanding of marriage. You can download a copy of the leaflet here.
Children
In our Sunday services, we often pray for babies or young children brought by their parents to be blessed. The blessing is an opportunity to give thanks to God, to pray for the baby and parents and to pronounce God’s blessing on the child’s life.
