Life
‘Life’ is the name of our Sunday evening service which starts at 7pm and usually finishes around 9pm. Life is geared towards those aged around 16-35 but it not a youth meeting and is open to people of all ages. Lots of older people regularly attend Life and really enjoy it!
The Life service often starts with refreshments followed by a time of worship led by our own Life band. For the rest of the evening, we might have an in depth Bible study or look at a topical issue. To help you know what’s going on at Life, you can download a programme here.
Life Mission Statement 2010
Our mission is to equip young adults and others for effective Christian living and service, through teaching, worship and fellowship, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Usually on the last Sunday of the month, as part of the Life Service we run our 'Equipping For Ministry' course. On these Sundays, the teaching is geared towards equipping and preparing people for ministry and serving in the local church. Those who come to these Equipping For Ministry sessions can, if they wish, be part of a special small group which meets three or four times a year with various leaders of New Life.
Life is an area of New Life where we have seen great blessing and growth in the past few years. There are lots of other activities and events connected to Life including fellowship groups and short term missions trips.
