Open Hands

At New Life we recognise our responsibility to take care of the poor and marginalised within our local community.

Members of New Life are encouraged to donate grocery items to Open Hands which are then distributed to those in need. We especially need donations of tinned meat and fish, tinned vegetables, tinned soup, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, baby food and nappies. Donations can be left in the box at the back of the Main Hall at any of the Sunday meetings.

At Christmas we run a scheme called ‘Christmas Angels’ where we make up and distribute food hampers to needy individuals and families.

Members of New Life are actively involved in reaching out to Croydon’s refugee community and other needy groups and individuals.

Please contact us if you would like to know more about Open Hands and our care for the poor and marginalised.
