Power House
Power House is New Life’s Sunday morning programme for children aged 3-17 which takes place during both the Sunday morning meetings. Children usually stay in the meeting for the first part before being sent to their different Power House groups. Some weeks children in school years 7 and above are in their respective Power House groups for the whole meeting. (Details of when this happens will be in the weekly 'Lifelines' news bulletin.) Stewards can direct children and young people to the appropriate group and location.
We have groups for pre-school, reception, years 1&2, years 3&4, years 5&6, years 7-9 and years 10-13. We have our own four week rolling programme for those in school years 7-13. All other age groups follow a teaching programme called Light produced by Scripture Union.
Our programmes for all ages are age relevant and Bible based and are delivered by trained leaders. At least one week in four there is a time of praise and worship for the various age groups. Power House is open to all children but we do ask that parents register their children when they first visit.
We have a crèche and nursing mother’s room available throughout the morning meetings for children aged 0-2.

New Life is committed to the safe protection of children in our care. All our workers have enhanced disclosures from the Criminal Records Bureau and we also have our own Child Protection Policy which can be downloaded here.
